League Overview
The Bozeman Girls Fastpitch Softball REC League is a local non-profit volunteer based organization that is designed to develop and teach girls from age 6-14 with all levels of experience the game of Fastpitch Softball. Bozeman Girls Fastpitch has 4 different age groups (U8, U10, U12 & U14) in our league. Throughout the season, the girls will learn the fundamentals of Fastpitch Softball including Softball IQ, Pitching, Catching, Throwing, Fielding, Hitting, Sportsmanship and Teamwork! The season consists of practices that will generally start the 3rd week of March with games starting the 1st week of April and usually concluding with a weeklong bracketed tournament in the middle of May. This is a fun and competitive league that focuses on your daughter learning the game of Fastpitch Softball while developing lifelong game and sportsmanship skills.
The Bozeman Fastpitch League is part of a larger Regional League that includes surrounding towns (Townsend, Ennis, Three Forks, Amsterdam, Manhattan, Belgrade, Bozeman, Livingston & Big Timber). Throughout the season, games will be played against teams from the surrounding towns in our league. Generally speaking, approximately half of the games played will be “away games” that will require some travel. For the most part, all games are scheduled at 6:30 during the weekdays. The U8’s will generally have 8 regular season games scheduled while the U10’s, U12’s & U14’s will have 12 regular season games scheduled.
Registration Information
Registration Cost: $95 for the first child and $70 for each additional child
Registration Deadline: March 7th, 2024
Season Dates: March 18th thru May 17th
